Massive protests against President Donald Trump's policies took place in all 50 states of the United States of America. Over 150 organizations, including human rights groups, labor unions, LGBTQ+ activists, veterans, and voting rights advocates, held demonstrations under the slogan 'Hands off!' at more than 1200 locations. The rallies were peaceful and without arrests.

According to an AP report, thousands of demonstrators, marching from Manhattan to Anchorage, Alaska, expressed their criticisms of Trump's actions in the areas of cuts to government services, economic policy, immigration, and human rights. Participants had various demands and slogans, such as 'Fight against the oligarchy' in Seattle and a march from Pershing Square to City Hall in Los Angeles.

The protesters voiced their displeasure over the firing of federal employees, the closure of social services offices, the deportation of immigrants, the cuts to protections for transgender individuals, and the reduction of funding for health programs. The President of the USA and head of the Department of Government Efficiency, Elon Musk, justifies these cuts by the need to save taxpayer money.

In Boston, demonstrators demanded the protection of democracy and welfare. Mayor Michelle Wu expressed her concern that intimidation is becoming government tactic and that the values of diversity and equality are at risk.

The protests received widespread media attention, particularly on social networks, where photos and videos of the events were shared. The opposition movement in the USA has not seen such massive mobilization as during the Women's March 2017 or the Black Lives Matter demonstrations in 2020.
