President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with the special representative of the President of the United States, Keith Kellogg, on July 14. The parties discussed paths to peace and strengthening the air defense of our country.

Volodymyr Zelensky announced this on Telegram.

Zelensky said that together with Kellogg, they discussed the path to peace and what the parties can practically do together to bring it closer. This includes:

  • strengthening air defense for Ukraine,
  • joint production,
  • procurement of defense equipment together with Europe,
  • sanctions against Russia and those who assist it.

The Head of State expressed hope for U.S. leadership, as it has long been clear that Moscow will not stop if it is not stopped by force.

'Thank you, Keith Kellogg, for this visit to Ukraine. I am grateful to President Trump for important signals of support and positive decisions for both our countries. We appreciate the support of the American people', Zelensky emphasized.

We remind you that on July 14, Keith Kellogg arrived in Kyiv. At the station, he was met by the head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak. The day before, Volodymyr Zelensky announced Kellogg's meeting with the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Ministry of Defense, and the Security Service. According to him, Trump's representative will receive complete information about the Russian potential and our prospects.

During the meeting between President of Ukraine Zelensky and the special representative of the President of the United States Kellogg, the paths to peace and strengthening air defense were discussed, as well as issues of joint actions for national security.
