Zelensky listens to reports from Umerov, Syrsky, and Budanov on Ukraine's defense strategy.


Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared information about his work in his official Telegram channel. He reported on meetings regarding the situation on the front line, the need for weapons and equipment, as well as coordination with allies.
Zelensky heard reports from Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky, and Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Bargilevych. The president also mentioned the preparation for a meeting in the "Ramstein" format.
In addition, the head of state received a report from the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, regarding the intentions of Russian troops by the end of the current year and Ukraine's plans to respond to these intentions.
Earlier, on the occasion of Defender's Day in Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky visited a hospital where he personally greeted military personnel and medical workers. The president presented state awards to soldiers and medical workers who save the lives of Ukraine's defenders.
In particular, two soldiers received the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky 3rd class, five - the Order "For Courage" 3rd class, and one more - the medal "For the Defender of the Fatherland". Medics were awarded the Order of Princess Olga 3rd class and the Order of Daniel of Galicia.
The president thanked the medics for their important service and for saving the lives of Ukraine's defenders.
