Zelensky commented on the possibility of ending the war in 2025.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the current situation on the battlefield creates an opportunity to end the war in Ukraine by 2025.
He announced this during his speech at the "Ukraine - Southeast Europe" summit in Dubrovnik on October 9, 2024.
"In October, November, and December, we have a chance to move towards peace and lasting stability. The situation on the battlefield creates an opportunity to make this choice - a choice in favor of decisive actions to end the war by 2025," emphasized Zelensky.
The President also spoke about the action plan developed by Ukraine, aimed at changing the current situation and preparing for the upcoming peace summit. According to him, this plan will ensure reliable stability and deprive Russia of the opportunity to further threaten Europe.
Zelensky noted that since July, Ukraine has been working on a peace formula that will be fully ready in November with all conditions for a fair end to the war. This will be presented at the second peace summit.
The Ukrainian leader emphasized the importance of forcing Russia to participate in the peace process and fulfill the conditions of the peace formula, noting that currently, Russia is avoiding honest and open diplomacy.
