President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the citizens
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in his evening address on the 1001st day of full-scale war, warned Ukrainians about the increase in panic messages and urged them not to spread negative information. Zelensky noted that Russia is using this increase for its own purposes.
The President also reported that Ukraine received a new military aid package from the USA amounting to 275 million dollars. This package includes drones, shells for 'HIMARS', and artillery, as well as mines for protection against Russian assaults. This is already the 70th package of defense assistance from the United States.
Zelensky noted that he had a conversation with the new Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk. They discussed the preparation of a new aid package from Poland and the country's presidency in the European Union.
Additionally, the President met with the Director of the World Bank for Operations. They discussed issues of Ukraine's financial stability and the use of frozen Russian assets.
