According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, early in the morning on December 30, 2024, updated losses of the Russian occupiers were reported.

According to the updates, Russia has lost the following in the war with Ukraine:
- personnel - about 787940 (+2010) individuals,
- tanks - 9663 (+7) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 20003 (+22) units,
- artillery systems - 21494 (+44) units,
- MLRS - 1256 (+0) units,
- air defense systems - 1032 (+0) units,
- aircraft - 369 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 329 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs - 21069 (+31),
- cruise missiles - 3003 (+0),
- ships/boats - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
- automotive and tanker vehicles - 32551 (+141) units,
- special equipment - 3670 (+0)
Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of December 30
- In the Black Sea, there is one enemy ship that is a carrier of 'Kalibr' cruise missiles, but the missiles are absent;
- In the Sea of Azov, there are no enemy ships;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are eight enemy ships, three of which are carriers of 'Kalibr' cruise missiles and can make at least 26 strikes.
In the last 24 hours, in the interests of Russia, the following vessels were allowed through the Kerch Strait:
- to the Black Sea - four vessels, one of which continued its movement towards the Bosporus strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - six vessels, two of which arrived from the Bosporus strait.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has been ongoing for 1041 days.
