Power outage: important advice from Ukrenergo.

The National Energy Company "Ukrenergo" reports that on August 8, 2024 there will be no electricity shutdown.
According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption has stabilized. The level of consumption as of 9:30 on August 7 remains at the same level as the previous day.
The company reports that on August 6, the highest hourly peak electricity consumption was recorded around 15:00, which was 1.3% higher than the previous day.
Ukrenergo reminds that the energy system is still recovering after attacks by Russian forces, and emergency and planned repairs are ongoing at energy facilities.
The company urges consumers, if possible, to use powerful electrical devices between 11:00 and 15:00, when there is the most electricity thanks to solar power plants.
Currently, there is no export of electricity and no plans for it.
Ukrenergo also reports the consequences of night attacks on energy facilities. In the southern region, a major power line was disconnected, but consumers did not remain without electricity. In the central region, certain areas of the Poltava region were temporarily de-energized due to the disconnection of the oblast power line, but power supply was restored within 40 minutes.
As of August 7, 495 settlements are fully or partially de-energized due to military operations and other reasons. Power outages are observed in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions. Technical malfunctions also caused power outages in Chernihiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Kudrytskyi also assessed the readiness of the Ukrainian energy system for winter.
