Scientists explained what provokes the increase in the intensity of floods and hurricanes.

According to Bloomberg, global warming causes the appearance of heavy rains and hurricanes, affecting climate change.
Recently, extreme showers have led to floods and landslides, resulting in deaths in Africa, Europe, Asia, and the USA.
Germany experienced heavy rains and floods, which resulted in the death of 220 people in 2021.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, operating under the auspices of the UN, has identified an accelerated water cycle on Earth due to global warming, which leads to changes in the weather.
Increased concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere leads to warming temperatures, evaporation of moisture from the oceans, and the formation of dense clouds capable of pouring large amounts of precipitation.
"The warmer the air, the more moisture it holds. A 1-degree increase in temperature leads to a 7% increase in precipitation," notes Deborah Brosnan, a marine and climate scientist.
The problem is that many cities and villages are not prepared for intense and prolonged rains, as they were built for a different climate.
Various manifestations of global warming can amplify one another, leading to a significant increase in destructive impact. For example, high land temperatures make it difficult to absorb rainwater, increasing the risk of flooding.
The ability of communities to resist floods depends on many factors, such as soil erosion, deforestation, and the condition of bridges, dams, and other protective structures.
Researchers found that global warming had an impact on the intensity of rains that fell over four days in Central Europe this month.
Heavy rains caused floods in Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Romania, notably in the Czech Republic, where the flood was caused by prolonged rains.
