In Odesa, during a walk in the kindergarten, a child suffered a serious injury due to the negligence of a teacher. The woman left the children unattended, and when the tragedy occurred, she did not call for help and did not inform the management or the parents.

The teacher overlooked the child

According to the preliminary investigation, a 60-year-old teacher from Odesa was found guilty of serious violations of her official duties, which led to the child's injury. The incident occurred at kindergarten No. 26 on Bolharska Street.

During the morning walk, the teacher left the children unattended, resulting in one of the students getting injured after falling from a metal structure on the playground. The child sustained serious injuries, such as a traumatic brain injury and a skull fracture.

What punishment did the teacher receive

In court, the teacher admitted her guilt, apologized, and requested a lenient punishment. She explained that she was not responsible for supervision, expressed regret over the consequences, and was ready to face the consequences.

The court decided to punish the woman with three years of imprisonment but released her from serving the sentence with the condition of a probation period of one year. During this Time, she must report to the probation office and inform them of any changes in her place of residence or work.

It is worth noting that the woman previously called the representatives of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine 'antichrists' and received punishment for this. A man who committed the murder of a teenager was also found guilty in the Kharkiv region.
