Starmer's government acknowledged the use of British weapons in the Kursk region - Media.

The British government led by Keir Starmer openly admits supplying weapons for the Ukrainian Armed Forces operation in the Kursk region. According to The Sunday Times, last week Starmer and Defense Minister John Healey decided to more directly acknowledge Britain's involvement in supporting Ukraine.
British weapons, including Challenger 2 tanks, are being used in the Kursk region on Russian territory. An official representative of the British government emphasized that there is no shyness or uncertainty about this. The use of British equipment should evoke pride and support from the British public.
"There will be no shyness about the fact that British weapons are used on Russian territory within the defense of Ukraine. We do not want any uncertainty or nervousness about Britain's support at this critical moment, and fear or an uncertain response could indicate just that. We should be proud that we have sacrificed equipment that helps Ukraine defend itself," said a source in the British government apparatus.
This decision was made to persuade allies to provide more assistance to Ukraine and consciously engage the British public in understanding that the country's security and economic well-being depend on events on the battlefield.
In addition to tanks, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also use British drones, their models are not specified. Previously, it was known about the use of Malloy drones, but they are not combat drones; they are used to support troops and evacuate military personnel.
According to The Sunday Times, the British government wants to allow the use of Storm Shadow missiles for military purposes on Russian territory. However, the position of French and American partners involved in the production of these missiles complicates the implementation of this plan.
British politicians are convinced that their allies are lost in fears of "escalation" and that this is in vain. They believe that Russia will not use even tactical nuclear weapons and do not pay attention to the rhetoric coming from Moscow.
