Ukrainian ski acrobats successfully completed the season.


This weekend, the final European Cup freestyle competitions took place in Switzerland. According to the information from the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, the Ukrainian team earned six medals.
Four athletes represented Ukraine:
Oksana Yatsyuk – gold and bronze
Maxim Kuznetsov – gold and silver
Angelina Brykina – silver
Dmytro Kotovskyi – bronze
The Ukrainian ski acrobatics team won the overall standings of the European Cup for the 2024/25 season for the third Time. Oksana Yatsyuk also became the overall winner in the European Cup standings in ski acrobatics.
The National Olympic Committee of Ukraine congratulates the athletes and everyone who helped achieve this success, and wishes successful preparation for the Olympic Games in 2026.
In the artistic gymnastics competition, Taisiya Onofriychuk won the gold medal, surpassing athletes from Bulgaria and Uzbekistan.
At the World Cup 2024/25, there were also two awards for Ukraine – Taisiya Onofriychuk became the absolute champion of the stage in Thun, while Polina Karika won bronze in the all-around.

- Taisiya Onofriychuk (Ukraine) – 114.450 points
- Stilyana Nikolova (Bulgaria) – 110.650 points
- Tokhmina Ikromova (Uzbekistan) – 109.850 points
For the 16-year-old Onofriychuk, this is her first gold at the World Cup. She previously had silver in clubs and bronze in ball and ribbon exercises last season in Baku and Sofia, respectively.
