Ukrainian tennis player reaches US Open qualifying final for the first time in her career.

Ukrainian tennis player Yulia Starodubtseva defeated Chinese player Gao Xinyu with a score of 2:1 in the US Open-2024 qualifying final. This is the second Time Starodubtseva has tried to reach the main draw of the tournament. In 2023, she failed to achieve this goal, but in 2024 she managed to show a better result. In the previous rounds, she defeated Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva and reached the semi-finals with Chinese player Gao Xinyu, whom she had not played against before.
