Ukrainians in Poland will receive grants of up to 200,000 hryvnias: who and how will receive assistance from the Red Cross.


The Polish Red Cross helps Ukrainians start businesses
The Polish Red Cross has created the 'New Start' program (Nowy Start), which is aimed at supporting Ukrainian refugees in starting their own businesses in Poland. This information was published on the pck.pl website.
Participants in the program receive financial support of up to 17,100 zlotys (183,380 UAH), as well as the opportunity to receive training in the basics of business management. Grants can be used for purchasing furniture, equipment, vehicles, and more.
To participate in the program, candidates must be aged 18 to 65, have a valid PESEL UKR number, be a participant in the Polish Red Cross 'Livelihood' program, and have a plan to open individual entrepreneurship in Poland.
Steps to participate in the program include filling out a registration form, participating in an online training, submitting required documents and a business plan, a video interview with experts, signing an agreement, and project evaluation together with representatives of the Polish Red Cross.
