The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine recognized military-technology sport as a new non-Olympic sport
The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine has officially recognized military-technology sport as a new non-Olympic sport. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the agency.
It is noted that military-technology sport combines competitions in four areas: air, land, water, and cyberspace. Participants will compete in drone and ground robotic complex management in disciplines such as racing, interception, reconnaissance, remote striking, and combined missions. This sport will be developed by the Federation of Military-Technology Sport.
Young engineers, programmers, drone operators, and analysts will be able to enhance their skills in a sports environment, while students of technical specialties will gain practical experience working with innovative technologies.
Military-technology sport will also open opportunities for veterans. They will be able to use their skills in a new form – teaching the youth, participating in competitions, and testing innovations. Additionally, there are plans to integrate this sport into the curricula of technical universities and military educational institutions.
