Ukraine can build a second 'Dream': the commander of the legendary aircraft reveals details.

The commander of the transport aircraft An-225 'Mriya' and An-124 'Ruslan', Dmytro Antonov, reported that the second instance of the 'Mriya' aircraft is 70% ready. The fuselage and wing have been preserved in good condition, allowing the construction to be completed.
The fuselage and wing were created in 1990 as part of the plans to produce a second An-225. However, with the collapse of the Soviet Union, the project was frozen.
Antonov noted that the second aircraft had been kept in good condition for 30 years, and now it only needs to complete construction and equip the aircraft with the necessary equipment.
Historical event
On December 21, 1988, the An-225 'Mriya' aircraft first took to the skies of Kyiv from the airfield in Sviatoshyno.
It was also reported that the Security Service of Ukraine has completed the investigation into the case of the destruction of the 'Mriya' aircraft. An indictment against the individuals involved has been sent to court, where they face imprisonment.
We remind you that as a result of an air attack by Russian troops on the Hostomel airport, the An-225 'Mriya' aircraft was burned, which is one of the largest and most powerful aircraft in the world produced by Ukraine.
Additionally, an indictment has been sent regarding the former general director of the State Enterprise 'Antonov', due to his negligence that led to the destruction of the 'Mriya' aircraft.
