Former Minister of Economy and Energy of Latvia Vyacheslav Dombrovskis believes that achieving the rule of law will be very difficult for Ukraine. This is an important condition for the country's economic growth. According to him, Ukraine should become the 'new South Korea' in terms of economic development. However, to achieve this, it is necessary to be rooted in the European Union. He also pointed to the necessity of the absence of corruption, financial responsibility, and the development of industrial policy. Dombrovskis emphasized that Ukraine's problems need to be resolved independently, and the path to European membership requires many years and intensive work.
