Ukraine is ready for reverse gas supplies after transit from Russia ends.

According to a source in the government, the Ukrainian gas transportation system is ready to operate in reverse mode after the transit of Russian gas to Europe ends.
Ukrainian gas supplier Naftogaz of Ukraine insists that they can provide gas supplies to Ukrainian consumers even if the transit to Europe stops.
There is currently no information about possible gas supplies under a contract between European companies and Azerbaijan in 2025.
However, according to the agreement with the EU, Ukraine must ensure gas transit if needed by European partners.
Hungary and Slovakia are not restricted by sanctions in purchasing gas products.
The source cites the example of the Hungarian company MOL switching to purchasing Russian oil and its transit through the Ukrainian oil pipeline.
According to the source, the Hungarian company has already paid for the services of Ukrtransnafta and acts as its counterparty. This option is better than cooperation with the Russian Transneft.
The Ukrainian government hopes that Europe will completely abandon Russian gas due to the growth of alternative supplies and new transportation routes.
Slovakia and Hungary support the supply of electricity to our damaged power system. Hungary and Slovakia have never refused emergency assistance to the Ukrainian power system, although Poland has done so.
It is important to have reserves of diesel fuel in neighboring countries, as many medical and educational institutions, as well as businesses and the population, use diesel generators for their needs.
