In the Zhmerinka district, military personnel died in an accident.

On the morning of July 2, near the village of Korostivtsi in the Zhmerinka district, a road traffic accident occurred, resulting in tragedy. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Vinnytsia region.

The driver of the Mitsubishi vehicle lost control and went off the road, causing the car to catch fire. The 43-year-old driver died at the scene, while his 40-year-old passenger died in the hospital.

The police have opened a criminal proceeding under part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of traffic safety rules or transportation operation by persons who manage vehicles that caused the death of the victim).

Another road traffic accident in Srednie in Transcarpathia

'Zhmerinska Gazeta' reports that in Srednie in Transcarpathia, a road traffic accident occurred, in which two defenders from the Zhmerinka community died. In addition, seven people were injured. The incident happened due to the driver's disregard for the road situation in a Volkswagen.
