Explosions are heard again in Kursk.

Last night in Kursk, there were several explosions related to the operation of the air defense system. Local authorities urged residents to take cover in safe places and declared a missile danger. This was reported by the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexey Smirnov.
"Kursk region: threat of UAV attack. Be vigilant! Air defense forces and means are ready to repel a possible attack," noted Smirnov.
At 00:40, Smirnov reported that the air defense system had shot down three Ukrainian missiles.
Local residents also report powerful explosions on social networks. This is the second night in a row that there have been explosions in Kursk. Last night, according to Russian authorities, a fragment of a downed missile fell on a residential building and caused a fire.
It should be noted that Russian propagandists claim that the Armed Forces of Ukraine broke through the border in the Kursk region on August 6.
Previously, it was reported that on the night of July 30, an explosion thundered in Kursk, after which an air alarm was declared in the region three minutes later. Around 4:00 AM, an explosion was heard over Kursk and a bright flash was seen in the sky. The loud sound triggered car alarms in several districts.
By the way, Ukrainian defense forces struck important enemy targets on Russian territory, including traction substations in the Kursk region.
