Artificial Intelligence Reshapes the Labor Market: Which Professions Will Disappear Forever.

In a world where the pace of technological progress is accelerating daily, the professional environment is transforming into a dynamic arena of continuous change. Automation, artificial intelligence, and global geopolitical shifts are forcing millions of workers to rethink their career trajectories, adapt to new realities, and acquire fundamentally new skills.
The 'Future of Jobs Report 2025' predicts a massive transformation of the professional environment over the next five years, affecting a wide range of professions and causing significant structural changes in the economy.
Experts have identified four key factors that will influence the labor market in 2025-2030:
- digitalization;
- rising cost of living;
- the need to adapt to climate change;
- geopolitical tension.
The study shows that 39% of professional skills will undergo significant transformation.
The most in-demand professions will be technology-related, including fintech engineers, AI specialists, machine learning experts, cybersecurity analysts, artificial intelligence engineers, DataOps developers, cloud system architects, data management specialists, DevOps engineers, and virtual reality analysts.
At the same Time, professions in the social sector will remain relevant: university and secondary school teachers, nurses, social workers, psychologists, professional development trainers, coaches, and health experts.
There will be a consistently high demand for agricultural workers, delivery drivers, construction workers, salespeople, food industry workers, caregivers, logistics managers, agronomists, veterinarians, and eco-consultants.
Professions related to routine operations will be at risk of reduction:
- cashiers;
- ticket controllers;
- administrative assistants;
- secretaries;
- postal workers;
- bank tellers;
- data entry workers;
- call center operators;
- junior accountants;
- dispatchers.
Key professional skills of the future will include working with networks, knowledge of cybersecurity, and environmental management.
