Stava for the Protection of Ukraine since the First Days of the War. Let us remember Sergei Wisotsky.

Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians remember those whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Sergei Wisotsky.
Sergei Wisotsky, defender of Ukraine, fell on March 6, 2025, during military operations in the Kherson and Donetsk regions. This was reported by the Lviv City Council.
Sergei Wisotsky was born on July 10, 1973, in Lviv. He attended Lyceum No. 52 of the Lviv City Council and graduated from the former Lviv Technical School of Industrial Automation. After his studies, he served in the military and signed a contract with the Western Territorial Command of the National Guard of Ukraine in 1997.
At that Time, Wisotsky worked as a chief electrician at the headquarters of the non-profit organization 'Lviv Regional Organization of Physical Culture and Sports Society 'Dynamo Ukraine'. He was known for his reliability and responsibility.
With the onset of the Russian-Ukrainian war, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the defenders of the homeland to fight against the invaders.
Wisotsky carried out military operations in the Kherson and Donetsk regions and served in the 63rd separate mechanized brigade of the 11th Army Corps of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
For his personal courage and dedicated service, Wisotsky received commendations from the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The funeral service took place on March 11 at the garrison church of the holy apostles Peter and Paul. The defender was buried at the Lychakiv cemetery.
Sergei Wisotsky is survived by his parents, wife, three children, a brother, and a grandson.
'Hlavkom' joins the moment of silence. We remember all Ukrainians who have fallen in the fight for the homeland. We honor the fallen through the hands of the Russian invaders, light candles of remembrance, and bow our heads in sorrow during the national moment of silence as we honor the memory of citizens of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all soldiers, civilians, and children, all who have fallen in the fight against Russian occupiers and as a result of enemy attacks on Ukrainian cities and villages.
