Meat prices in Ukraine have increased
In the Ukrainian meat market, prices for most types of pork increased in September 2024. According to monitoring data from "Minfin", pork belly increased by 4.30 UAH/kg, reaching 171.94 UAH/kg. The shoulder increased in price by 12.97 UAH/kg to 179.70 UAH/kg. The neck slightly decreased to 269.00 UAH/kg. Loin increased by 5.00 UAH/kg to 172.63 UAH/kg. Pork ribs also increased by 2.85 UAH/kg, reaching 174.63 UAH/kg. Barbecue increased the most in price - by 19.08 UAH/kg, reaching 252.97 UAH/kg.
The price of homemade lard remained unchanged at 234.00 UAH/kg. This is evidenced by price monitoring, which indicates that the price of salted lard last month was 242.84 UAH/kg, and this month it was not taken into account.
The study also showed that prices for chicken and beef also increased in September.
