Russian army advances in Kursk region: details from ISW.


Russian forces continue to approach the Kursk region, indicating further advancement. According to the report of the Institute for the Study of War, Russian forces have already approached south of Sheptukhovka, which is southeast of Korenevo. Two mechanized assault attacks occurred at the platoon level.
According to Russian sources, there were fierce battles and Ukrainian counterattacks southeast of Korenevo, specifically in the areas of the Green Path, Novoivanovka, and Lyubimovka. It also became known that Ukrainian forces used M1 Abrams tanks for the first Time during an attack near Novoivanovka in the Kursk region.
According to a Russian military blogger, fighting also continues on the west of the Kursk region in the Glushkovsky district near Novy Put. Information speaks of the activities of the 137th Airborne Regiment, the 1434th mobilized regiment "Akmat-Chechnya," and the 155th Marine Brigade. Also, units of the 11th Airborne Brigade operate southeast of Sudzha.
In addition, the Russian army has already occupied Novosadove in the Donetsk region and is also approaching the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Kherson regions.
Recently, Russian troops resumed the offensive on the border between the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions with some successes. However, these actions are not yet considered part of general offensive operations.
