Russians bypass Selydove and entered Vuhledar – ISW report.


According to analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Russians continue active attacks on several fronts. Recently, they entered the village of Vuhledar and established a foothold there. The operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Russia uses geolocation footage, which shows that Ukrainian troops are trying to repel the Russian assault. According to Forbes, a Russian column was trapped by Ukrainian anti-tank forces near the village of Plekhove. The Russian invaders claim to have captured two villages, but these reports are not confirmed.
Russian aggression was also reported in the Kharkiv region. Russian troops advanced in the northern part of the Aggregat plant in the center of the city of Vovchansk. The Russian Armed Forces also attacked near Burkhovatka, Starytsia, and Vovchansk. According to the spokesperson for the Kharkiv group of troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russian troops continue to defend along the line of Lyptsi - Hlyboke - Krasne, and actively conduct reconnaissance.
In the Luhansk region, the advance of Russian occupiers was also recorded. They slightly advanced near Svatove and in the southern part of Makiivka. According to ISW, there were no confirmations of the capture of Andriivka and movement south from Stepova Novosilka. Russian troops also advanced in many other areas.
The Russian occupiers also conducted offensive operations in the western part of the Zaporizhia region. There were no reports from Ukrainian or Russian sources about battles in the Kherson direction. Russian troops complained about the lack of supplies for drones on the islands in the Dnipro delta.
The evening report from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported 159 clashes on the front. The situation in the Pokrovske direction remains the most tense, but the enemy is also active in the Kupiansk, Lyman, and Kurakhove directions.
