Russian troops shelled a multi-storey building in the city of Konstantynivka last night, resulting in at least 12 civilians being injured. This was reported by the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office. According to information from 'Hromadske', the enemy used a FAB-250 aerial bomb with a gliding and correction module.

«As a result of the airstrike, three men aged 46, 47, and 74, and a 47-year-old woman were injured. They were diagnosed with mine-explosive injuries, shrapnel wounds, contusions, and hypothermia. Eight more civilians aged between 41 and 75 received minor bodily injuries. They were rescued by firefighters», - the message states.

It is also reported that one local resident may be trapped under the rubble. In addition, three more buildings and a store were damaged. A pre-trial investigation has been initiated in the criminal proceedings regarding the commission of a war crime.

Status of negotiations on ceasefire

In connection with Russia's promise of a ceasefire in Ukraine from May 8 to 11, the spokesperson for the dictator of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, stated that the proposal for a truce on May 9 remains relevant; however, there has been no signal from Ukraine. At the same Time, U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vance noted that Russia demands too much during negotiations to resolve the situation in Ukraine.

Russian aggression continues to leave its traces in the form of affected peaceful residents and damaged infrastructure, which is generally emphasized in the message.
