According to intelligence, Russian forces in Syria have suffered significant losses, leading to the replacement of the commanding officer. General Sergey Kiselyov has been dismissed, and his place has been taken by General Alexander Chaiko, who previously commanded these forces. It has also become known that Admiral Alexander Moiseev has arrived at the military base in the city of Tartus.
After the successful offensive actions of Turkish forces recorded in Syria, Russian troops have suffered losses, and some of their units have found themselves encircled. In addition, an unknown number of Russians could not be located.
