Rescuers clarified the data on the dead in Lviv: among the victims - one child.


One child died as a result of a missile strike in Lviv
One child died after a Russian missile strike in Lviv, said State Emergency Service spokesman Oleksandr Khorunzhyi. According to him, search and rescue operations in Lviv have been completed. It was previously thought that three children had died, but updated data indicate that only one died.
According to Khorunzhyi, search and rescue operations were conducted with the involvement of about 150 rescuers and 38 units of rescue equipment. The fires were successfully extinguished and eliminated. According to the State Emergency Service, 12 people were rescued, but seven died. One of the victims is seven-year-old girl Emiliya. The other two deceased were already 18 years old.
The Russian missile strike on Lviv occurred on the morning of September 4. As a result of the attack, it was reported that seven people, including children, were killed, 64 injured, and 12 rescued.
The strike on Lviv led to damage to three schools and a creative center. In addition, the Regional Center for Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation on Konovalets Street was also affected. Shock waves caused damage to more than 70 windows, frame breakage, and ceiling collapse in six offices. The St. George Conqueror Church of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine on Chernivtsi Street was also damaged.
As a result of the Russian missile attack, September 5 was declared a day of mourning for the dead in Lviv.
