Pensions in Ukraine: what payments do people with disabilities receive.

Disability pensions depend on the base pension and the disability group assigned to the individual. Both of these factors influence the final payment amount in 2024.
Currently, the minimum pension payments for individuals with disabilities, depending on the group and circumstances, are as follows:
individuals with disabilities of Group I receive at least 2760 hryvnias;
individuals with disabilities of Groups II and III, who do not work, receive 2520 hryvnias;
individuals with disabilities of Groups II or III, who work, receive 2093 hryvnias.
The minimum pension for individuals with disabilities of Group III amounts to 50% of the base pension. However, for some citizens, this indicator may be different: for those who acquired a disability as a result of participating in military actions, the pension is calculated based on salary and amounts to 60% of the official monetary provision of the affected individual.
At the same Time, for liquidators and victims of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, the pension payment can be calculated as:
five times the minimum wage (as of January 1 of the current year);
an amount calculated based on the average salary received in the exclusion zone during the years 1986–1990.
