The Hungarian government has set a condition for further European Union sanctions against Russia. Minister of European Affairs Janos Boka stated that Budapest will agree to new sanctions only after consulting with U.S. President Donald Trump. Orban's government believes that the EU should be cautious in adopting new sanctions against Russia. There needs to be an agreement with the Trump administration regarding the content of the new sanctions package; otherwise, Hungary will not support further sanctions.
Let us remind you that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to Romanian Georgescu's statements regarding the division of Ukraine.
