Operational information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: 179 combat clashes per day.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the situation on the front remains tense on the night of August 30 to 31, 2024. Over the past day, there have been 179 combat clashes, and Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy's advance and inflict losses on them.

The most battles occurred in the Pokrovske direction – 55, and active combat operations continue in the Kupiansk, Lyman, and Kurakhove directions.

The invaders carried out two missile strikes, 61 airstrikes, and more than 3180 shelling. In addition, the enemy used 573 kamikaze drones.

Ukrainian defenders carried out successful actions in the Kharkiv direction (7 combat clashes), the Kupiansk direction (30 battles), and the Lyman direction (22 battles). In the Pokrovske direction, 52 repelled attacks were recorded, with 3 combat actions ongoing.

In particular, the General Staff notes the successes of the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade, which effectively destroys enemy equipment and combat positions.

Over the past day in the Pokrovske direction, 318 occupiers were neutralized, of which 132 were irretrievable. In addition, a tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, 8 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 2 enemy vehicles were destroyed.
