Ukrainian military pilots are effectively operating in the Kursk direction, delivering precise strikes on enemy positions. This was reported by the Commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.
"The Air Forces aviation is actively participating in the combat operations in the Kursk direction. Ukrainian pilots deliver precise strikes on enemy strongpoints, equipment concentrations, as well as important logistics centers and supply routes of the enemy," wrote Oleshchuk and published a video of the strike.
The Lieutenant General thanked the pilots and everyone involved in supporting the combat work of the aviation.
Earlier, it was reported that the Ukrainian armed forces attacked a bridge over the Seym River in Hlukhivka, Kursk region, using HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems. According to Russian sources, the first strike resulted in the destruction of the bridge, over which two "People's Front" employees were traveling, who were killed. The second strike led to the complete destruction of the bridge.
As a result of the attack, 30 settlements in the Hlukhivka district were cut off from the territory controlled by Russian troops. The evacuation of civilians from these areas is complicated.
Russian military analysts note that the destroyed bridge played a key role in supplying the Russian military group in this area.
