Occupiers plan a breakthrough in two areas of Donetsk region – ISW.

Russian troops are heading to Donetsk
According to the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian troops are redirecting brigades from other fronts to the Toretsk direction in Donetsk region. In particular, units of the 68th Army Corps and the 58th Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation have been moved to the Toretsk direction from the Kurakhove area and occupied areas of Zaporizhzhia region.
Additionally, Russian troops have carried out an attack towards Myrne. Eyewitnesses confirm the involvement of units from the 39th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces in this operation. This indicates Russia's readiness to expand combat operations in Toretsk.
Analysts suggest that the Russians may attempt to seize territory in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, moving towards Nova Poltavka. These actions indicate Russia's attempts to expand its positions in eastern Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the day, the Russian Armed Forces have carried out numerous missile and air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops, using drones and artillery. The situation in the east of the country remains tense, and the conflict may escalate in the near future.
