One-time Payments for Contract Soldiers 2025 — Amounts.

Ukrainian contract soldiers who sign their first military service contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine now have the right to a one-Time payment. The amount of this payment depends on their military rank.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, servicemen who serve under contract receive this payment when signing their first contract:

'This payment is provided to servicemen who are signing a limited-term contract for military service for the first time,' the agency emphasized.

Amount of Payment for Privates, Sergeants, and Officers

The Ministry has announced that the amount of the one-time payment for military personnel depends on their rank:

Thus, according to the new rules, military personnel can receive the following amounts for the first contract:

• 24,224 UAH — for privates who sign a contract for 3 years;
• 27,252 UAH — for sergeants and foremen who sign a contract for 3 years or more;
• 30,280 UAH — for officers who sign a contract for 1 year or more.

It is also worth mentioning that there have been previous reports about plans to change payments for military personnel, as well as new additional payments that will be established for servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in July 2025.
