One of the EU countries has transferred weapons to Ukraine.

As part of a new aid package for the Ukrainian army, Latvia has provided modern Patria 6×6 armored personnel carriers - multifunctional armored vehicles that have already proven their effectiveness in combat conditions. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Ukrainian Ambassador Valery Churkin thanked the Latvian government for the provided weapons. These armored personnel carriers have been produced serially since 2021 as part of a joint program of Finland, Estonia, and Latvia.
