Trump supports the 'state of emergency' plan for the deportation of illegal migrants
Presidential candidate Trump supported the 'state of emergency' plan for mass deportation of illegal migrants, which he wrote about on his new Truth Social website.
According to Newsweek, Trump reacted to a post by Tom Fitton about using military force for deportation, responding to the post with the word 'TRUTH'.
Tom Fitton is the president of Judicial Watch, a public organization that investigates government corruption.
Trump plans to use the Enemy Alien Act for deportation
Earlier, Trump stated his intention to engage the National Guard and government agencies to implement his deportation policy. He promised to initiate the largest criminal deportation program in American history.
Trump's plan also includes using the Enemy Alien Act of 1798 to expedite the removal of gang and cartel members, restore border control, and utilize military forces to stop human trafficking and combat cartels.
President Trump stated that his promise to deport millions of illegal immigrants has no 'price tag'. He noted that criminals and drug lords should be expelled to their home countries.
Business response to Trump's plan
According to the American Business Immigration Coalition (ABIC), implementing this policy could result in a decrease in agricultural production by 30-60 billion dollars. Restaurant owners and agricultural sector leaders are calling for an approach that supports business and preserves the workforce.
