Russian Invaders Attack Khmelnytskyi Region
Today, Russian invaders launched a massive attack on the Staro-Konstantinov community in the Khmelnytskyi region. According to information from local Telegram channels, the enemy launched 'shahed' drones and missiles at the community.
The Ukrainian Air Force recorded a drone moving from the west of Zhytomyr region towards Khmelnytskyi at 01:38. Subsequent attacks on Staro-Konstantinov were recorded at 04:24 and 05:05, when the Air Force reported missiles moving over Vinnytsia region. The attack lasted from 01:07 to 07:12.
The Ukrainian airfield in the city of Staro-Konstantinov in Khmelnytskyi region is one of the constant targets of Russian attacks. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the occupiers have been attacking the airbase with drones and missiles - cruise and hypersonic 'Kinzhal' missiles.
The head of the Khmelnytskyi regional military administration, Serhiy Tyurin, reported that preliminary data suggest there are no casualties among the civilian population, but there is damage to private households and businesses. Yesterday, the Khmelnytskyi region also came under fire, leading to destruction of civilian infrastructure and casualties. In total, four people died and five were injured.
The situation in Khmelnytskyi region remains tense, the threat persists, and necessary measures are being taken to protect the civilian population from Russian aggression.
