Why debunk small Russian 'fake news'? Explains the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation.

The head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council Andriy Kovalenko explained why it is necessary to debunk many Russian 'fakes', some of which Ukrainians do not even notice. Sometimes such attention to these 'fakes' is attracted precisely during their debunking.
The assessment 'do not notice' should be based on numbers, - said Kovalenko in a comment to 'Glavkom'. - If top bloggers do not notice this in Telegram channels, it does not mean that it is not present in TikTok, YouTube, Viber. We rely on the numbers provided by software based on artificial intelligence. And we react when there is dissemination in Ukraine.
The expert notes that people aged 25-35 may not notice such disinformation, but schoolchildren aged 10-14 do notice: 'We also see this and respond for their parents, because in a few years these children will determine the course that the country will take. Our task is to look a little deeper than what people oriented towards a specific bubble do.'
We remind you, the Center for Counteracting Disinformation warns: Do not click on suspicious links, even if they look like social networks or services.
A new fraudulent scheme using offensive comments has appeared on Instagram.
As previously reported, the Center for Counteracting Disinformation tells that in the Russian Federation, the demand for smartphones has fallen to a record low. In the first quarter of this year, their sales decreased by 25% compared to the same period last year. It is noted that a similar situation also exists with other portable electronics - laptops, tablets, etc.
