At one of the checkpoints, bus passage will be restricted - reasons.

Starting from July 10, the crossing rules for bus transport at the checkpoint 'Shehyni – Medyka' in Lviv region will be temporarily changed. Due to the overload of this route, the system eQueue will only allow registration for regular bus routes.
Changes at the checkpoint
This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Community Development and Territories, Serhiy Derkach, on Facebook.
According to Derkach, in recent weeks there have been queues at the 'Shehyni – Medyka' checkpoint, with passengers forced to wait on buses for up to 10 hours. The reasons include seasonal increases in passenger traffic and infrastructure reconstruction at the checkpoint.
Irregular routes are recommended to temporarily redirect through the 'Nyzhankovychy – Malchovichi' checkpoint in the Lviv region, which was opened at the end of last year. The capacity of this checkpoint is up to 50 buses per day, but currently, it is only partially utilized - throughout June, only 80 buses were processed.
The restrictions are temporary, and entry into Ukraine through 'Shehyni' remains unchanged.
As a reminder, this morning at the 'Shehyni' checkpoint, 35 cars and 4 buses were waiting in line.
We also reported that Romania updated the rules for crossing the border.
The 'Shehyni – Medyka' checkpoint in the Lviv region is temporarily imposing restrictions on irregular bus routes due to overload and increased passenger traffic. To reduce queues, passengers are recommended to use the alternative 'Nyzhankovychy – Malchovychy' checkpoint and remember that the restrictions are only temporary, while entry into Ukraine remains unchanged.Read also
