A 21-year-old female commander with the pseudonym Plumber is fighting in Donetsk region.

21-year-old Olena serves on the front as a commander of the rifle division. She came to the military registration office after volunteering and training as a locksmith-plumber. The decision to join the army was difficult, but Olena supported her mother. She dreamed of the position of commander and made her dream a reality. Olena treats the work on an equal footing with men and has an instinct for self-preservation. Animals seeking shelter distract the military and influence the deployment of positions. Olena does not miss home, but returning to civilian life will be difficult, as she plans to get higher military education and fully engage in the military profession. The Ministry of Defense will promote equal access to work in the field of mine action, including attracting women and other social groups.
