Drone Attack on Kharkiv and Dnipro
On the evening of April 29, 2025, Russian drones launched a massive attack on Kharkiv. According to local authorities, at least 10 people were injured as a result of the strikes. This was reported by the mayor Igor Terekhov on his Telegram channel.
The attack started after 10 PM. According to local authorities, four districts of the city were under fire - Shevchenkivskyi, Slobidskyi, Saltivskyi, and Kyivskyi. Residents of the city reported at least 16 explosions.
'In the Saltivskyi district, preliminary information indicates that one of the drones fell near a medical facility,' Terekhov reported. Also, an enemy UAV was recorded hitting the Slobidskyi district, and a private house caught fire in the Saltivskyi district as a result of the strike.
The number of injured increased throughout the evening. Initially, it was reported that three people were injured in the Saltivskyi district; later, head of the Kharkiv regional administration Oleg Synegubov clarified that six people had been injured. According to the latest data from the mayor, the number of injured reached ten people.
'All victims are receiving highly qualified medical assistance,' Synegubov emphasized.
Alongside the attack on Kharkiv, Russian drones attacked Dnipro. Local Telegram channels and Hromadske reporters reported explosions in the city. According to monitoring channels, more than a dozen drones were headed for Dnipro, and some were shot down.
