Today, the enemy launched one missile strike (23 missiles) and 63 air strikes, dropping 104 guided bombs in particular, using 718 kamikaze drones to strike, and conducted over 4200 shellings of our troops' positions and populated areas.

News of the war in Ukraine

As of April 6 at 22:00, there were 135 combat clashes. The defense forces are redirecting their efforts to disrupt the plans of the Russian invaders for an offensive and depleting their combat potential. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Latest news from the front

The hottest situation today is in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, Toretsk, and Kursk directions.

In the Kharkiv direction 

The enemy attacked twice in the vicinity of Vovchansk and in the direction of Kam'yanka. The enemy carried out air strikes on Berezivka, Kozacha Lopan, Zolochiv, and Dvorichanske.

In the Kupiansk direction

The enemy attempted to advance to our positions near the settlements of Pishchane, Nova Kruhlyakivka, Bohuslavka, Zahryzove six times during the day; Ukrainian units repelled five attacks, and one battle is ongoing.

In the Lyman direction

The enemy attacked 20 times in the areas of the settlements of Novoihorivka, Nove, Kolyadzy, Yampolivka, Nadiya, and in the directions of Novomykhailivka, Novosergiyivka, Torske, Ridkodub, and Novo. Our warriors stopped 14 attacks by the invaders, and six battles are ongoing.

In the Toretsk direction

The enemy conducted 17 offensive actions against our troops' positions in the areas of Dachne, Diliivka, Toretsk, and Leonidivka; one confrontation is still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction

Since the beginning of the day, the enemy attempted to breach our defense in the Pokrovsk direction 42 times in the areas of the settlements of Sukha Balka, Kalynove, Udachne, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyarivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, Bohdanivka, Vodyane Druhe, Kotlyne, Uspenivka; five confrontations are currently ongoing.

The occupiers carried out air strikes with guided bombs in the areas of the settlements of Berestok, Pokrovsk, Zorya, Hrodivka, Kotlyne, Novopavlivka.

In the Novopavlivsk direction

Today, Ukrainian warriors repelled three attacks by the occupation army in the areas of the settlements of Rozliv, Kostiantynopil; one confrontation is still ongoing. Air strikes targeted Odradne, Komar, and Myrne.

In the Kursk direction

Today, there were 29 confrontations, four of which are still ongoing. The enemy carried out 16 air strikes and dropped 17 guided bombs, conducted 178 artillery shellings of our troops' positions and populated areas, including 13 from reactive multiple launch systems.

The enemy continues to harass Ukrainian positions, regularly conducting missile and air strikes, as well as attempting to carry out offensive actions. Moreover, the enemy conducts numerous shellings and attacks on our troops' positions and populated areas. At the same Time, Ukrainian forces are able to effectively counter the aggressor, stopping its attacks and repelling further actions. It is important to emphasize that Ukrainian soldiers have been defending our country for 1138 days, which demonstrates the bravery and dedication of our soldiers.
