Ukrainian military forces successfully repelled the Russian offensive in the Kursk region. According to experts, Ukraine currently controls approximately 700 square kilometers of Kursk territory, as reported by military expert Dmytro Sniehyrov.
'One of the most intense situations was in the area of the settlement of Pohreby. The 810th Marine Brigade (RF) suffered significant losses in personnel and equipment. During just one 'banzai attack,' 14 enemy combat vehicles were destroyed. There were also significant casualties among personnel. It's worth noting that the 810th Brigade was transferred from the Pokrovsk direction (Donetsk region) to the Kursk region. This brigade is one of the strongest military units of the Russian Federation. Overall, six 'banzai attacks' were recorded in this direction, which ended unsuccessfully for the occupiers,' commented the expert.
Sniehyrov also mentioned fights in the area of Mala Loknia, but they were successfully stabilized with the rapid reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the expert's assessment, the presence of North Korean forces on the front line did not change the situation in favor of the enemy.
'There is currently no fundamental change in the situation on the front line. I emphasize once again: all counterattacks in the area of Mala Loknia, Plekhovo, and Pohreby were successfully neutralized by the Armed Forces of Ukraine,' stated the analyst.
Sniehyrov also noted that the North Korean military does not have effective units and coordinated actions with Russian forces.
