Money will force to return, and the payment of benefits will be suspended: what pensioners need to do.

Pensioners must inform the Pension Fund about changes in their employment activities
Ukrainian pensioners should remember that they need to inform the Pension Fund about any changes in their working activities within 10 days. This applies to both employment and dismissal or termination of entrepreneurial activities, as these changes can affect pension payments. Neglecting this rule has serious consequences, as in case of late notification, pensioners will have to return improperly received payments. Additionally, upon dismissal, pensioners are entitled to additional payments and increases that are only available to unemployed individuals.
It is worth noting that pensioners who are individual entrepreneurs and do not receive income are considered employed until they officially terminate their entrepreneurial activities. To change their status, they need to provide a document confirming the termination of their state registration.
Pensioners can inform the Pension Fund in various ways: in person, through the e-service portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, or the 'Diia' portal using a qualified electronic signature.
Also, it is important to know that pensions may be suspended in case of providing false documents, the pensioner moving abroad for permanent residence, or not submitting pension earnings for six consecutive months through a postal branch.
Therefore, timely notification to the Pension Fund about changes in their status will help avoid problems and preserve all rights to payments and benefits.
