The strike group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully attacked a UAV storage base in Russia
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on October 9, 2024, published information about a successful operation against Russian occupiers.
According to the report, the strike group of the Naval Forces of the AFU, in cooperation with units of the Security Service of Ukraine, attacked a storage base of 'Shahed' type unmanned aerial vehicles near the settlement of Oktyabrsky in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.
According to available information, about 400 attack drones were stored at the base. Objective control recorded a precise hit on the target, and secondary detonation was observed on the territory of the facility.
The General Staff of the AFU emphasizes that the destruction of the 'Shahed' UAV storage base will significantly reduce the ability of the Russian occupiers to terrorize peaceful residents of Ukrainian cities and villages.
Furthermore, earlier it was reported about a previous successful operation conducted at night by units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the AFU in interaction with other components of the Defense Forces. A fire strike was delivered to the 67th Arsenal of the Main Rocket-Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the Bryansk region.
On the territory of this warehouse, ammunition for rocket-artillery weapons, including those received from North Korea, as well as guided aerial bombs, were stored. Explosions were recorded on the facility's territory, and the local authorities blocked the road in the vicinity of the arsenal.
The General Staff of the AFU emphasizes that striking such arsenals creates serious logistics problems for the Russian army, significantly reducing the offensive potential of the occupiers on threatening fronts.
