The ferry "Konro Trader" sank in the port of "Kavkaz" in Kuban. According to the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar region, there were 5 crew members on board, their fate is currently unknown.
"Konro Trader" was the only railway ferry on the Kerch crossing, reported by Russian media. At the Time of the attack, it was loaded with railway tanks of fuel.
Earlier, eyewitnesses reported a powerful explosion and a large column of smoke rising from the port area. A fire train was sent to extinguish the fire on the ferry.
In connection with the incident, a missile alarm sounded in occupied Sevastopol, and combat readiness was declared in the military units of the city. The Crimean Bridge was temporarily closed.
