Prices are rising, but demand is not falling: what is happening with rental housing in Kyiv.

According to a study by the LUN company, the rental period for housing in Kyiv has significantly decreased - from 11 to 5 days. This market was analyzed between the rental advertisement and the signing of the contract. Due to the start of the school year, demand for rental housing has significantly increased.
Despite the high rental price of one-room apartments - 15 thousand hryvnias per month, demand still remains high due to the return of students to offline learning and the influx of forced migrants due to the war.
The average rental cost of one-room apartments is 15 thousand hryvnias, but options can be found for 13 thousand. Two-room apartments are offered on average for 20 thousand, but can be found for 17 thousand hryvnias.
In terms of rental speed, Kyiv outperforms other major cities: in Odesa, the housing search period is 9 days, and in Lviv - 15 days. In Lviv, rental prices are slightly lower - 14 thousand for a one-room apartment and 18 thousand hryvnias for a two-room apartment.
