How do Hungarians feel about Ukraine's accession to the EU? New survey results.


The leader of the Hungarian opposition party 'Tisza', Peter Madiar, announced the results of an alternative survey of Hungarian citizens regarding Ukraine's accession to the European Union. According to the survey data from 'Voice of the Nation', 58.18% of respondents support Ukraine's accession to the EU.
Madiar stated that if the 'Tisza' party wins the elections in 2026, the survey results will become the foundation for their policy.
The 'Voice of the Nation' survey was conducted from March 15 to April 5 in all settlements of Hungary and involved over 1.1 million citizens aged 18 and older.
It is worth noting that the Hungarian government included a leaflet with fakes about Ukraine in the survey package regarding Ukraine's accession to the European Union.
Civic organizations and the opposition of Hungarian society criticize the National Consultations as a means of propaganda.
Also, the community in Hungary is concerned about the European Commission's recommendation regarding food supplies in emergency situations. Unknown individuals have also painted the upper part of a protected rock in Hungary in yellow and blue colors.
